Founded 30 years ago, our core mission is the protection and empowerment of children, and women, especially those from underserved backgrounds. Balvikas Academy is committed to safeguard child rights and children from underserved backgrounds, who are easily vulnerable to abuse, torture, and illegal activities.
Awareness Against Child Marriage
According to the report, every year more than 22000 women die from pregnancy and childbirth resulting from child marriage. Child marriage is a prevalent issue in marginalized families,
Awareness Against Foeticide
Having sons is mostly preferred over having daughters for many different reasons. Thinking women are less valuable than men is still a matter of worry as it leads to female foeticide.
